As a founding principal of TowerHunter, Inc., Terry Hindmarch has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s reputation for delivering exceptional client service and consistently outstanding results. As Founding Partner – Emeritus, he continues to serve as a trusted advisor and ambassador of the firm’s values and legacy.
Terry’s executive search experience spans a broad range of industries and organizational structures, including for-profit and nonprofit organizations as well as publicly traded and privately held companies. Throughout his career, he has successfully led searches for critical leadership roles, from senior executives to key mid-management positions.
Prior to co-founding TowerHunter, Terry established himself as a national leader within a retained executive search firm specializing in healthcare. His deep expertise in this sector led to his role as leader of TowerHunter’s Healthcare Practice, where he has been instrumental in building long-standing client relationships and delivering high-impact leadership talent.
In addition to his executive search accomplishments, Terry brings more than 25 years of senior-level experience in human resources and operations. He served as a Vice President in the retail industry, with broad responsibility for human resources, labor relations, risk management, and healthcare delivery.
Earlier in his career, Terry spent seven years with General Electric, where he held a variety of leadership roles across labor relations, organizational effectiveness, and operations, including leading a GE call center. He was also a key contributor during the company’s implementation of the renowned “Work-Out” change initiative.
Terry began his professional career in the steel industry, where he held multiple leadership roles in human resources and labor relations, building the foundational expertise that has defined his career.
He holds a Master’s degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
