Patricia Buckley is the Managing Partner at TowerHunter, where she combines more than two decades of executive search expertise with a deep understanding of corporate talent strategy. Known for her curiosity, precision, and commitment to results, Pat partners with organizations across the United States and internationally to identify and secure exceptional leadership talent.
With a foundation in human resources and corporate recruitment from her time at American Express, Pat brings a well-rounded, strategic perspective to every search. She has helped clients navigate complex hiring challenges—from building teams for large-scale initiatives to redesigning staffing models and elevating internal talent functions. Her approach is both analytical and intuitive, blending rigorous research with a keen ability to understand organizational culture and leadership fit.
Pat’s work spans healthcare, higher education, nonprofit organizations, and a wide range of senior leadership assignments. She is especially valued for her ability to lead comprehensive, high-touch searches that consistently go beyond expectations, resulting in impactful, long-term placements.
She began her career with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in New York before moving into roles at American Express in both New York and Phoenix. She later joined a research-focused recruitment firm, where she led teams dedicated to uncovering and placing top-tier talent, including C-suite executives—across diverse industries. Her work is grounded in sophisticated research techniques and a belief that the best outcomes come from insight-driven, highly customized search strategies.
Outside of her professional work, Pat is deeply committed to giving back. She has served on the Board of Directors of Dress for Success – Phoenix, supporting women on their path to economic independence, and previously served as Vice Chair of the national Board of NPH USA, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children. She has opened her home to international exchange students through the U.S. State Department’s PAX program, reflecting on her passion for cultural connection and a global perspective.
Pat holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mount St. Mary’s College.
In her free time, she’s an avid reader, enjoys playing Mahjong, and can often be found exploring local trails with her two dogs, Luna and Astro.
