TowerHunter announces the recent appointment of Rich Hubbard to Chief Underwriting Officer at Louisiana Worker’s Compensation Corporation (LWCC).  Rich brings to LWCC a diverse background of Commercial Middle Market Underwriting, Sales Management, and Agency Operations.  His prior roles include successful assignments at The Hartford and The PMA Group.

In his new role, Rich will serve as a key member of the LWCC Executive team providing strategic direction for underwriting, loss prevention, safety, and multi-state facility initiatives.  He will be is responsible for the underwriting standards and disciplines within the organization; all while moving down the path of incorporating data analytics in the new digital environment.

LWCC is Louisiana’s largest workers’ compensation carrier, providing coverage to approximately 18,000 policyholders. The organization is a private, nonprofit mutual insurance company that revitalized a workers’ comp system on the verge of collapse and has continued to provide much-needed stability in Louisiana.
